M Z Tempo Transport

Our spot is at 6 BTM Layout, right there in the Kotni Rang area. If you come by, you’ll probably see a couple of our tempos parked nearby, or at least one driver sitting around waiting for the next load. BTM is always crowded, so navigating the big vehicles through the narrow parts can be a real headache some days. We keep our logs in a small room that has a desk and a few chairs for when the guys need a break. It’s mostly just phone calls and coordinating where the trucks are supposed to be. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that everything gets delayed, and we just have to sit and wait it out. The office stays pretty simple with a calendar on the wall and a few water bottles. We handle a lot of different items, from furniture to boxes for people moving houses. The floor is usually a bit dirty from the drivers walking in and out all day. We don't have any fancy computer systems, just the notebooks where we write down the trips and the fuel costs for the month. It’s a lot of back and forth, and the phone doesn't really stop ringing during the daytime. We just try to keep the vehicles running and the drivers on time, though the Bangalore roads don't always make that easy for us. It is a lot of work but it keeps us very busy.
