You can find us right at No.1 on Avenue Road in the Mm Lane area of Ganigarpet. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the streets are. It’s always a rush here with people moving goods back and forth. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small counter where we handle the marketing and sales. We deal with a lot of different products and the inventory changes all the time. Boxes are stacked up almost to the ceiling, so we have to be careful when moving around. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of the day is spent talking to traders and making sure the loaders are putting the right stuff on the carts. Ganigarpet is a hub for this kind of trading, so we fit right in. We’ve been at this Avenue Road location long enough to know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a lot of shouting and haggling sometimes, but that’s just the way business happens here. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. We just rely on people coming by or calling us up to see what we have in stock. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s how we’ve always operated. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the late evening.
