M R A Furnitures is a small spot located in Horamavu on the 7th Cross. We’ve been here at 427 for a good bit of time now, right on the 3rd Main. Most people know us for the smell of wood and the sound of saws going off during the day. We mostly do tables, chairs, and some custom cupboards for people living in the neighborhood. It’s not a huge showroom like the ones you see in the mall. Instead, it’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. We spend a lot of time sanding down wood and making sure the polish looks right. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with sawdust everywhere, but that’s just part of the job. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and they know their way around a piece of teak or rosewood. Customers usually just walk in from the street to ask if we can fix a broken chair or make a new bed frame. We aren't really into big advertisements; word of mouth from people in Horamavu is usually enough to keep us busy. It’s a local business, so we know our regulars well. Sometimes we have to juggle a few different orders at once, which can get stressful, but we manage to get it done. We just want to make stuff that lasts and doesn't fall apart after a few months.
