M M Provision Stores

M M Provision Stores is located on L H Road in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. It’s a typical corner store, really. We’ve got the groceries and household items that the families around here need. The floor is made of old tiles that are worn down in the middle from all the foot traffic. We have a big refrigerator for the milk and curds, and it hums pretty loudly all day long. Sometimes I have to give it a little kick to make the rattling stop. L H Road gets quite busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work. We stay open late to make sure everyone can grab their dinner supplies. We don't have a fancy layout; we just put things where they fit. There’s a stack of crates outside most mornings. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evenings. Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar is a lively place to live and work. We know most of our customers by name, and we know what they usually buy. It’s a simple life running M M Provision Stores. We don't do any delivery, people just come by and pick up what they want. The shelves are made of wood and they've started to sag a bit under the weight of the canned goods. We’ll probably fix them next year if we get the chance. We usually have a radio playing in the background.
