We are located over at 22 Deepanjali Nagar, inside the P P Industrial Estate on Linker Road. If you get lost, just look for the Quality Biscuit Factory right across from us. Usually, you can smell the baking when the wind blows the right way. Our place is full of wood shavings and the sound of saws most of the day. We do a lot of interior furnishing work, which mostly means we’re busy making cupboards, tables, and frames for people's houses or offices. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always someone measuring something or arguing over a blueprint. The floor is usually covered in sawdust by noon, no matter how much we sweep. We have been in this industrial area for a good while now. The trucks coming in to pick up finished pieces sometimes get stuck in the narrow lane, which is a bit of a mess. We don’t have a fancy front office with coffee machines or anything like that. You just walk in and see the guys working. We use different kinds of plywood and laminates depending on what’s available and what the customer wants. It’s a lot of physical labor, sanding down rough edges and making sure the hinges line up properly. Sometimes things take longer than we expect because a delivery of materials is late or a machine breaks down. That’s just how the furniture business goes in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
