M M Fabrications

If you walk down Police Station Road in Malleshwaram, you will find us at number 118. This part of Bangalore is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. M M Fabrications is basically just a workshop where we cut, weld, and put things together. It’s not a quiet place because of the machines and the noise from the street. Being near the police station means it’s a fairly easy landmark to give people when they are trying to locate us. The shop floor is usually covered in scrap metal and sparks fly pretty much all day long. We’ve been in Malleshwaram for a good bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but this road stays pretty much the same. We take on whatever fabrication jobs come through the door. Sometimes it’s a small repair, other times it’s something bigger that takes up all our space. It gets hot inside when the sun hits the roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the day’s tasks. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all know the local tea stalls and where to get a quick lunch. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working with our hands. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, show us what they need, and we figure out how to make it.
