M K S Furniture

We run M K S Furniture over at 6 Nagawara. It’s a basic workshop and showroom. We spend most of our days surrounded by wood, saw dust, and the smell of polish. Nagawara is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We aren't like those big furniture malls you see on the highway. We build things more traditionally. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lanes, which is a bit of a hassle. We make beds, cupboards, and tables. Nothing too fancy, just stuff that holds up over time. The workshop is in the back, and the front has a few pieces on display so people can see what we do. It’s dusty work. Our clothes usually have wood shavings on them by the end of the day. We don't have a big sales pitch. If someone likes a chair, they buy it. We can change the size of things if needed. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us by just walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We keep the tools sharp and the wood stacked up. It’s just a regular local business. We don't use fancy software to design things; we mostly just use a pencil and a tape measure. It works for us and the people around here. We just want to make furniture that doesn't fall apart after a month of use.
