M. K. Ahmed Supermart sits on the second floor of Building No. 176. We are right on 100 Feet Road in Indira Nagar, which as anyone around here knows, is a very busy stretch of road. Being on the second stage of the development means there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been here for a bit, and people have slowly figured out they have to walk up the stairs to find us. It’s not like those big ground-floor stores where you can just wander in off the street, but we think that’s okay. It makes the place feel a bit more private, even though we’re a supermart. We stock a bit of everything because the folks in Indira Nagar come from all walks of life. Some days we are unpacking boxes all morning, and the aisles get a bit cramped with all the new stock. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you can’t find something, you just have to ask. The 100 Feet Road is always noisy with traffic, but once you’re inside on the second floor, it’s a bit calmer. We spend our days checking dates on milk and making sure the shelves don't look too empty. It’s just a regular local shop, trying to keep up with what the neighbors need.
