If you come by M H Interior, you’ll probably find us covered in wood dust. Our workshop is at 502 Whitefield in the Karma Estate. It’s right opposite the Shell Petrol Pump, which is a good thing because that pump is the only way people seem to find us in the Whitefield traffic. Working in interiors isn't just about picking colors. It’s a lot of cutting, sanding, and making sure the cabinets actually fit the walls. Sometimes the walls in these new apartments aren't even straight, which makes our life difficult. We spend our days measuring things twice and still finding out we need to trim a little more off the edge. We’ve got a small team here. We don't have a big showroom with lights and fancy displays. Most of what we do is custom work for people who live around this area. We take our tools to the site, stay there until the job is done, and then move on to the next one. It’s noisy and messy work. The sound of the saw is pretty much the background music of our lives. We deal with plywood, laminate, and hardware every day. It’s satisfying when a kitchen finally comes together after all the sweat and effort. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just building solid furniture and wardrobes for folks who want their homes to look decent and work well for their families.
