M F Telecom

M F Telecom is located at number 30 in the Poisar area of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a small storefront, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve been here for a while, mostly dealing with mobile phones and all the little accessories people need. The street gets quite crowded in the evenings, so it’s a good spot for people to drop off their phones for repair on their way home. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter with a magnifying glass. These new phones have such tiny parts, it takes a lot of patience to fix them. We get a lot of people asking for screen guards or a specific type of phone case. The walls are lined with boxes of chargers and headphones. It isn't a high-end showroom. It’s just a practical shop for people who need their gadgets fixed. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't do the software updates as fast as we want. We just tell the customers to come back the next day. Most people are understanding since they live nearby. We know the other shop owners on the block, and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a simple life running a telecom shop in Gandhi Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s often late by the time I pull down the shutter and lock up. But the neighborhood is safe and we enjoy the daily routine of it all.
