Life Style Modular

Down here at 61/1 Kamakshi Palya, specifically in the Badrappa Complex on Magadi Main Road, we run Life Style Modular. It is a busy stretch of road, always full of trucks and people moving about. Our shop is where we handle all the talk about kitchens and wardrobes. You will usually find sawdust on the floor and the smell of glue in the air. It is a workspace more than a showroom. We spend a lot of time looking at measurements and trying to make sure pieces of wood fit together like they are supposed to. Magadi Main Road is never quiet, so we have to shout over the traffic sometimes when we are discussing designs. We aren't some high-end luxury brand with a glass building. We are just in a regular complex, working with our hands and some machines. Sometimes a customer brings a drawing on a piece of paper, and we try to figure out how to build it. We’ve had some long days where we stay late just to finish a cupboard frame. The tea shops nearby keep us going. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. We don’t put on airs or use big words. If a hinge is squeaky, we fix it. If the wood is wrong, we change it. That’s how we do things here in Kamakshi Palya. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of plywood to get through.
