You’ll find Lic Housing Finance on Brigade Road, which is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. We are specifically located in the Canara Mutual Building on the 2nd floor, right across from Cash Pharmacy. This part of SVP Nagar and the Mhada Colony area is always packed with cars and people. Our office is a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. We spend our days going through loan applications and checking a lot of paperwork. It’s a lot of reading and double-checking numbers, which can be a bit tedious, but it’s important work. The office isn't anything special to look at—just desks, chairs, and filing cabinets everywhere. We don’t use any fancy sales talk here. If you come in, we just tell you how it is and what documents you need. Brigade Road can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually suggest people take an auto or the bus. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, so we’ve seen the shops on the ground floor change many times. We just keep doing our thing on the 2nd floor. It’s a busy life, and the phone never really stops ringing, but that’s just the nature of housing finance. We just take it one file at a time and try to get through the stack.
