You can find Laxmi Steel Traders right near the Electronic City area on Hosur Road, specifically by the Huskur Gate. Being out here means we’re surrounded by a lot of big tech parks, but our side of things is much more industrial. We focus on trading steel, so our day is mostly spent talking to suppliers and checking the quality of the loads coming in. Hosur Road is almost always jammed with traffic, which is just part of life for us. We see a lot of people passing through on their way to work. Our yard is where all the action happens. We keep a variety of steel products ready for whoever needs them for their building projects. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy stuff around and making sure the counts are right. We don’t have a corporate office vibe at all. It’s more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of place. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, but when it rains, things can get a bit messy in the yard with the mud and the wet metal. We just keep our heads down and work through it. Most of our regulars are local builders who know they can just drop by Huskur Gate and find us. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit, and we’ve seen the whole area change with all the new buildings going up around Electronic City. We just stay focused on the trading and keep the inventory moving out.
