We’ve been here in Gangenahalli for a good while now. The shop is usually packed with all sorts of things like plastic buckets, steel containers, and kitchen racks. People from around Ahmedabad stop by when they need something sturdy for their homes. It gets pretty hot during the afternoons, so we try to keep the front organized, but sometimes the stock just piles up. Dealing with steel and plastic means we see a lot of different folks looking for specific sizes. We spend most of our time moving things around to make space. It’s a busy spot, especially on weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of items that people actually use every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and we have to stay back to unload everything ourselves. The floor stays dusty because of the road outside, but we keep the products clean. If you walk down the main lane in Gangenahalli, you’ll see our sign. We keep the doors open from morning until late evening. It is a simple setup where we focus on having what people ask for. There isn’t much to it besides making sure we have enough stock on the shelves. Most of our regulars know exactly where everything is kept. We just keep the place running and try to stay ahead of the inventory.
