Laxmi Computers & Stationary

Down at Chikka Banavara, we’ve got this shop in the Faz Complex. It’s right across from the Janapriya Apartments. Being in Borivili West means we see a lot of the same people every day. Laxmi Computers & Stationary is a bit of a mix. One side of the shop is full of notebooks, pens, and stacks of paper, and the other side has old monitors and computer parts. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded quickly, especially when school kids come in after class. They’re always looking for a specific type of pen or need something printed for their projects. We also spend a lot of time looking at broken computers that people bring over from the apartments. The shop smells like a mix of new paper and warm electronics. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is. The landlord comes by sometimes for a chat. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we’re here across from the main gate of Janapriya. If the printer jams, it’s a whole ordeal, but we figure it out. It’s a local business and we like the pace of it. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a student is desperate for a printout. It’s just being a good neighbor, really.
