Lakshmi Stores

Lakshmi Stores is located at 457/45 in Murari Mansion, right on Bangalore Road. It is a solid building, and we have our little corner inside it. Bangalore Road is always full of vehicles, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background while we work. Murari Mansion has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls look. We spend our days mostly rearranging the items on the shelves and talking to whoever walks in. The store isn't very wide, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff in there. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a simple shop where we sell things people need for their houses. I spend a lot of time checking the ledger and seeing what needs to be ordered for next week. The floor is made of old stone, and it stays cool even when it is hot outside on Bangalore Road. People from the nearby apartments come in quite often. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just open the doors at 457/45 and wait for the day to start. It is a bit of a repetitive job, but it is honest work and we like the people who stop by Lakshmi Stores. That is pretty much it for us.
