My name is Lakshman and I run things here at 72 J C Nagar. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so setting up shop here made the most sense. J C Nagar is a lively place, always something going on outside the door. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. I don't see the point in spending a lot on fancy decorations when the work is what matters. Usually, I'm here by eight or so. My desk is a bit of a mess with papers, but I know where everything is. People stop by to chat sometimes. It’s that kind of neighborhood. You get to know the faces. I don't have a big staff, just a couple of people who help out when things get busy. We don't use any of those big words you see in brochures. We just talk like regular people. If there's a problem, we fix it. That's about it. The street gets a bit crowded in the afternoons, but that's just part of being in the city. We keep the doors open mostly to let a breeze in. It gets warm in the summer months. We've got a small fan that rattles, but it does the trick. It's a humble way to make a living, and I'm okay with that. I don't need much more than a quiet spot to work and a good cup of tea every afternoon to keep me going.
