L N R Tent House

L N R Tent House is tucked away in Vijaya Nagar, specifically at H K House Lane 1431/1. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze back here, but we’ve made it work for a long time. The lane is usually quiet until we start loading the metal poles onto the rickshaw, and then the whole neighborhood knows we’re working. We handle all sorts of stuff, from the big marquees for weddings to just a few dozen plastic chairs for a small prayer meeting at someone's house. It’s mostly family running things here, so we don't have a corporate structure or anything like that. We just talk to people, see what they need, and try to get it there on time. Sometimes the traffic in Vijaya Nagar makes us run a bit late, which is frustrating, but we always do our best to make it up. Our equipment has seen a lot of use, so it’s got that worn-in look, but it’s sturdy and does the job. I spend a lot of my time fixing things, sewing up small holes in the tents or repainting the legs of the tables. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the community here. People know they can just walk down the lane and find us if they’re planning something. We don't use fancy contracts, just a handshake and a note in our ledger usually works for us.
