Kutir Handicrafts

You can find Kutir Handicrafts over at number 84 on 6th Cross. We are on the right side of Magadi Road, right across from the Anjan Theatre. That theater is a good landmark because everyone knows it and it helps people find our door without getting lost. The shop is full of various handicrafts that we have brought in from different places. It’s a bit crowded in here because we have so many different things on the floor and the shelves. Magadi Road is always busy with traffic and people going to see movies or heading to work. We hear the noise from the street all day long but we are used to it by now. I usually sit near the front so I can see who is coming in from the road. We don't really do any big marketing stuff or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they were passing by the theater or they live in the neighborhood. We’ve been here at 6th Cross for a long time. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy but we just keep the shop clean and wait for customers to stop by. It is a family-run kind of place and we don't have many employees. Just a couple of us handling the sales and the stocking of the shelves. Kutir Handicrafts is a simple operation. We open up in the morning and close when the street starts to get quiet at night.
