Kunchaum Foods

You can find Kunchaum Foods at Shop No-1947 on 28th Main in Jayanagar 9th Block. We chose this spot because Jayanagar is such a lively part of Bangalore and there are always people walking by. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with food items and try to keep things fresh and organized, even when it gets crowded on the weekends. I spend most of my day behind the counter or checking the stock in the back. It gets pretty loud with the traffic on 28th Main, but we are used to it by now. The shop has been here for a bit and we have some regulars who come in every single week. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything like that. We just open up, make sure the shelves are full, and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we run out of things faster than expected, and I have to scramble to get more. That’s just how it goes when you run a local food business. It is a lot of standing on your feet and lifting boxes, but seeing the same faces every day makes it worth it. If you are in the 9th Block, just look for our shop number. It is a plain front but there is always something good inside. We keep the lights on until late most nights for the folks heading home from work.
