Kumar Paying Guest

Kumar Paying Guest is what we call this place at 140 Vimanapura. We are right across the road from Total Mall, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Living here is pretty simple. We have rooms for people who are working in the city or studying nearby. It’s a tallish building and we have different floors for the rooms. I spend most of my time on the ground floor making sure everything is okay with the building. It isn't like a fancy apartment with a gym or anything like that. It is just a place with beds, some fans, and bathrooms that work. Since we are opposite the mall, there is always a lot of light and noise from the traffic even late at night. Some people like it because they can just walk across the street to get whatever they need from the shops. We make food too, usually just simple home-style stuff that we cook in the kitchen in the back. I have to keep an eye on the water tanks and the electricity meters because something always needs a bit of looking after or a quick repair. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but it's a solid place. We have guys from all over staying with us. They come home late from work, eat their dinner, and go to sleep. It’s a very basic life here at number 140. We don't have any big rules other than being quiet at night so people can rest.
