Kuldevi Metals

If you find yourself on Sadar Patrappa Road, or SP Road as most people call it, you will find us at Kuldevi Metals. It is a very crowded area with a lot of shops selling all kinds of hardware and metal stuff. We are right there near Prabhat Road too. Our shop is filled with various metal items, and it gets pretty dusty with all the loading and unloading. We don't have much space to move around, but we know exactly where every pipe and sheet is kept. It is a family thing, mostly. We started small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage. Customers come in looking for specific sizes, and we spend time cutting things or weighing them out. It’s loud because of the traffic and the sound of metal hitting the floor. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is just written down in the ledgers. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a break. It is hard work, moving heavy stuff in the heat, but it is what we know. We have been on this street for a long time, and we know all the other shopkeepers around us. It is just a basic metal business, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to get the orders right and keep the customers coming back when they need parts.
