Krishna General Shop

Krishna General Shop is over at 968/5, on 15th A Cross in Yelahanka New Town. It’s one of those shops that has a little bit of everything squeezed into the shelves. If you walk in, you’ll see jars of snacks and stacks of household stuff piled up pretty high. Yelahanka New Town has grown a lot, but our little corner on 15th A Cross feels like its own small world. We spend our time counting change and grabbing items from the top shelves for people who can't reach. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. We don't have a big team or anything, just us making sure the shop stays open and the shelves don't stay empty for too long. The morning starts early when the bread and milk deliveries arrive, and we’re usually there before the sun is fully up to get things ready. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the day, like sweeping the front step or re-arranging the soda bottles in the cooler. We’ve been here long enough that we know what most of our regulars are going to ask for before they even say it. It’s just a simple general shop, nothing more and nothing less. We like being part of the daily routine for the neighborhood.
