Krafty Weavers

You can find Krafty Weavers at 51/1 on 29th A Cross in Geetha Colony. We are tucked into a residential part of Rajajinagar which makes it a bit quieter than the main markets. It’s a small operation here. We have a couple of rooms where the work happens and a front area where we keep the finished pieces. The sound of the machines or the needles is something you get used to pretty fast. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It’s more of a place where people drop by because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. The walls are painted a simple white but they have some scuffs from moving the equipment around. We have a small porch where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice. We aren't a big factory or anything like that, just a few people who know how to handle the yarn and the cloth. We usually have some thread ends on our clothes and the floor always has bits of fabric that need to be swept up at the end of the shift. It’s a honest kind of work and we don't put on any acts for anyone. If we are busy, we are busy, and if it’s a slow day, we just sit and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a comfortable place for us.
