Kolkata Rolls

We have been here on Brigade Road for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, right near the United Bank of India, and honestly, the noise never really stops. If you know Bangalore, you know how crowded this corner gets, especially in the evenings. We focus on making rolls the way they should be made. Nothing fancy or over-the-top, just the usual stuff people look for when they’re hungry and walking down the street. It’s a small space, No. 1 and 2 to be exact, so people usually just grab their food and keep moving. We see all kinds of folks here, from students to office workers taking a quick break. Sometimes the line gets a bit long, but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can without making mistakes. It gets hot inside when the burners are all going at once. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. It’s not a big restaurant where you sit and talk for hours. It’s more of a place where you get what you need and get on with your day. We use what we have and keep it simple. If you’re around the 560001 area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much about it. That’s just how it is. We keep the counters wiped down and the ingredients ready. It’s hard work but it’s what we do for a living here in the city.
