We are located over at Sunkadakatte on the 21st Cross in Bagalagunte. This part of the city is always growing, and Kohinoor Steel Pvt Ltd is right in the thick of it. The 21st Cross is a bit of a winding road, and our building is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number 6. It’s a practical space, mostly built for utility rather than looks. We have some storage areas and then a few desks set up for the administrative side of things. The floor is concrete, and the lighting is just basic fluorescent tubes that flicker once in a while. It gets quite loud during the day because there are other workshops and small businesses nearby. We are used to the sound of trucks and motorbikes passing by constantly. The office inside is usually a bit dusty because of all the activity on the street. We keep a few plastic chairs for visitors and a large table where we spread out all our drawings and documents. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days but still work. We usually bring our own lunch from home and eat together at our desks while we talk about our families or the news. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We don't have any marketing people or receptionists; we just answer the door ourselves when someone knocks. It is a honest, hardworking environment for the whole team here in Bagalagunte 6 and we like it.
