Fino Leather

Our office is at Diamond District. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but Airport Road is where things happen. We’ve been working with leather for a while now. Most days it’s just us sitting around the tables cutting and checking things. The air smells like hide and glue, which you get used to after a week. Kodihalli is usually jammed with cars, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We keep our supplies in the back room and try to stay organized, but sometimes the scrap pieces end up all over the floor. It’s not a big fancy factory, just a place where we get the work done. Someone usually brings in tea around four. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs for people to sit if they come by to talk about an order. We handle a lot of different bags and smaller leather bits. The lighting in the O-21 unit is okay, but we use extra lamps for the fine stitching work. It gets loud with the machines running, so we don't talk much during the heavy hours. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance of the district. We keep the doors open mostly to let a breeze in because it gets stuffy with all the material stacked up. It’s just how we run things here day to day. There’s always something to fix or carry around.
