If you're looking for us, we are at 400, 2nd Main, in the 1st Block of Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. Kings Wood Suppliers is what we call ourselves. It’s a decent-sized spot for keeping all our wood stock. We mostly deal with local builders and folks who are fixing up their own homes. The neighborhood is usually pretty quiet compared to the main roads nearby. We’ve been at this address for a couple of years now. It’s mostly just me and two other guys handling the daily work and deliveries. The wood piles up pretty high in the yard sometimes. We spend our afternoons checking the quality of whatever timber has just come in. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff around the yard. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. You just walk into the yard and see what we have on hand. The office is just a small corner with a wooden table and an old ledger. We still write everything down by hand for the most part. It feels a bit more real that way than using a computer for everything. Sometimes we sit down and have tea with the customers if they aren't in a hurry. It’s just a regular day for us at the yard. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the wood and keep the place running as well as we know how. It's enough to keep us busy.
