Our place is tucked away in Mylasandra Village, right in the Begur Hobli area. It’s not a very flashy part of town, mostly just dusty roads and people going about their business. We started Kikbit Foods because we wanted to get into the food trade, and this spot worked out for us. Every morning, the staff shows up early to get the lines moving. There is always a lot of noise from the machines and people shouting to be heard over them. We handle a lot of different food items, mostly packing and making sure things are ready to go out to the shops. It gets quite crowded in the warehouse when the new shipments arrive. We have a small office upstairs where the paperwork gets done, but most of the real work happens on the floor. It can be long hours, especially when there is a big order to finish before the sun goes down. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it feels like there are boxes everywhere you look. Being in the village means we know the neighbors and they know us. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to run a decent business and keep the trucks moving. Sometimes we sit outside for a quick tea break when the power goes out. That’s just how things go around here in Mylasandra.
