Khan Tempo Services

I have been driving the tempo around Bangalore for a long time now. My office is on 5 Yeshwantpur Munishwara Temple Street, over in Govindapppa Layout. It is a small space where we keep the registers and some spare ropes for tying things down. Usually, I am out in the truck most of the day. Moving houses is what we do mostly, so there is a lot of lifting heavy boxes and cupboards. My brother and a couple of cousins help with the loading. The traffic near Amruthahalli can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but we know the shortcuts by now after years of driving here. The tempo is an older model but it runs fine if you take care of the oil and tires. We carry everything from old fridges to big sacks of grain for local shops. Sometimes people call us very early in the morning because they want to beat the city traffic before the sun gets too hot. We don't have a big office team or anyone sitting at a desk all day. If you call, you usually talk directly to me or my brother while we are on the road. We keep old blankets in the back of the truck to wrap the furniture so it doesn't get scratched too much on the bumpy roads. It is hard work, especially when the stairs in some buildings are very steep and narrow. We just try to get the job done without breaking anything.
