Keshav Creations is tucked away in Chickpet on 4th Cross, K V Temple Street. The building number is 41365. If you know Chickpet, you know how crowded and narrow the streets are. It’s a constant rush of people and carts moving goods. Our shop is filled with fabrics and various materials from floor to ceiling. It can get quite tight inside when we have a few customers at once. We spend a lot of time unpacking bundles and sorting through different colors and patterns. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We’ve been on K V Temple Street for many years. There is always a bit of dust in the air from all the cloth. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse where people come to pick out what they need for their own projects. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, so we have to take the fabric to the door to see the real color. We drink a lot of coffee from the guy who walks around with a flask. Negotiating is just part of the daily routine here. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s never enough space for everything we want to stock. We just keep piling things up and helping people find the right roll of fabric. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Chickpet is. We wouldn't know what to do with a quiet office.
