Keriya Steel & Engineering Company

Located at 151 Bangalore City in the Ashok Nagar Colony area, Keriya Steel & Engineering Company is basically a workshop. There is always the sound of metal moving around and the smell of grease in the air. We have been in this part of Ashok Nagar for a while now. The roads get a bit crowded when the trucks come in to drop off materials. It is not the cleanest place because that is just the nature of steel work. We have some heavy machines that take up most of the floor space. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but usually, it is fine. The building itself is older, and you can tell by the walls and the way the door creaks. We start early when the air is still cool because it gets quite hot inside once we start working. There are other businesses nearby, mostly small shops and a few houses. We know the people who work across the street. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. It is about the tools and the steel mostly. If you walk past 151, you will probably hear us before you see us. We keep the gate open during the day so there is some breeze. It’s a busy spot but we have our own routine that keeps things moving along every week.
