Kerala State Electricity Board

Even though the name is Kerala State Electricity Board, this particular office is located in Bangalore, specifically in the Hulimavu area off Bannerghatta Road. We are based at Mallige Nilayam on Nadammagudi Road. It is a busy part of the city, and the road outside is almost always packed with bikes and cars trying to navigate the potholes. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a typical Bangalore structure with some plants on the balcony. Sajithlal K.P. is usually around, keeping things organized in the office. We deal with a lot of administrative work related to power and electricity, which means there are always plenty of forms to fill out and files to organize. The atmosphere is pretty casual; we aren't the type to wear suits and ties every day. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though that also lets in the sound of the honking traffic from Bannerghatta Road. It can get a bit hectic when there are deadlines or when the power goes out in our own building, which is a bit ironic given what we do. We just take it as it comes. We aren't here to sell anything or convince people we are the best. We are just a local branch doing the necessary work to keep things running behind the scenes for the board and the people we serve in this part of the city.
