You can find us over at 523, 5th Cross, 1st Main in Bangalore. This part of Karnataka is always busy, and our spot at Kennametal Widia is no different. We’ve got a lot of history in this building. It’s not new and shiny, but it does the job. We have tools everywhere and the smell of oil is pretty common. It’s a place where people actually work. We don't sit in meetings all day talking about goals. We just look at the orders and get to it. The 560086 area code is where we belong. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in India. We have a small crew and everyone knows everyone else’s business. It’s like a small village inside these walls. We don't have a big HR department or anyone making sure we sound professional. We just wanted to put our address down so people know we are still here. If you come by, don't expect a lobby with a fountain. Expect some guys in work shirts and a lot of heavy equipment. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. We’ve been here for years and hope to be here for many more. The 5th Cross can get a bit noisy with all the shops and traffic, but inside we just focus on the machines. It’s a good spot to be in Bangalore.
