Kennametal India Limited

Down here in Bangalore 73, Kennametal India Limited has been part of the landscape for quite a bit. It’s an industrial sort of area, and you can tell just by walking around. We have a lot of machinery and people who know how to use their hands. It’s not one of those quiet offices where you can hear a pin drop. There’s always some noise, whether it’s the machines or the trucks coming in. We don’t really spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. Most people who know us just know the address and what we do. The weather in Bangalore is usually okay, but inside the shop, it can get warm when everything is running. We have a lot of coffee breaks and some small talk about the local news. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything, we just make things that people need. Sometimes we run late on a Friday because something broke, but we stay until it’s fixed. That is just how it goes. If you look for us, we are just a plain building with a lot of hard-working folks inside. No bells or whistles, just the daily grind and a lot of metal. The tea stall around the corner is where most of us head when the shift ends. It is a simple life here in Bangalore 73, and we are quite used to the routine by now.
