Kataria Mobiles is tucked away in Hanumanth Nagar, specifically at the corner of 9th Main and 4th Cross. It’s a quiet residential spot compared to the main markets, but we stay busy enough. People from the nearby houses come in when they lose their charging cable or need a screen protector. We've got a lot of mobile accessories hanging on the walls. It’s a small shop, but we’ve got enough space for a repair desk at the back. Most days involve fixing cracked screens or dealing with software glitches that people can't figure out on their own. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our customers are just neighbors who have known us for years. We carry various brands of smartphones, but mostly the ones that are affordable. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when three or four people are waiting at once. We don't have fancy chairs, just a couple of stools. My brother and I run the place. We started it because there weren't many mobile shops right in this part of Hanumanth Nagar. It’s been a few years now. We know which brands last and which ones don't, and we tell people that if they ask. The 4th cross lane is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but people manage. We just keep the doors open and wait for the day to start. It is just a local business.
