Kashmir Art Boutique

Kashmir Art Boutique is situated right here in Bangalore City. It’s a place filled with different textures and colors, though it’s not always as organized as we’d like. We have rolls of fabric and boxes of finished pieces scattered around the back room. The front is where we show what we have, but even there, things can get a bit crowded. Bangalore is a fast city, but inside the shop, things feel a little slower. We spend a lot of time showing people the details of the work and explaining how things were made. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just like the items we sell and hope other people do too. The floor gets a lot of thread and dust on it, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea and talk to anyone who wanders in off the street. Some people are just looking for a bit of shade or to see something pretty, and that’s fine with us. We’ve been in this city for years and have seen it grow so much. Our shop remains a small, quiet spot amidst all that change. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. It’s just about being here every day and making sure the shop stays open for whoever might need something unique.
