Kashi Cell Point

If you're walking down Bahucharaji Road in the Nelamangala area you'll see Kashi Cell Point. It's a small shop tucked between a tea stall and a tailor. We mostly deal with mobile repairs and selling some second-hand phones that we've fixed up ourselves. I started this place because I always liked taking things apart to see how they worked when I was younger. Now I spend almost all day looking through a magnifying glass at tiny circuit boards and trying to solder things back together. It can be really frustrating when a part doesn't fit right or a phone just won't turn on but that's just how the job goes. The shop is usually a bit messy with cables and tools and bits of plastic lying around the workbench. We have a few glass cases where we keep the chargers and earphones for people to see. It’s a busy road so there's always someone popping their head in to ask a quick question about their battery or a broken screen. We don't have a fancy waiting area for people just one old plastic chair near the front door. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little bit through the front roof so we have to move all the electronics to the back of the shop. We try to be very fair with our prices because everyone in Nelamangala knows each other and news travels fast. If I did a bad job the whole neighborhood would know about it by tomorrow morning.
