Karthika Stores

Karthika Stores is located in Nagashettyhalli on Street Number 3. Our exact spot is New Guru Angad Colony, No. 9/1. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, away from the big highways. Being on Street Number 3 means we see the same faces every single day. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors well over the years. The shop itself is small, just one of those local stores where everything is within arm's reach. We keep the shelves stocked with whatever the folks in Guru Angad Colony might need. It’s not a supermarket; it’s more of a corner spot. The front of the shop usually has a few crates of stuff waiting to be moved inside. We open the shutters early in the morning when the milk is delivered and stay open until most people have finished their dinner. It’s a long day, but it’s not bad. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are slow. You can hear the kids playing in the street and the occasional bike passing by. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us managing the place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve looked this way for years and nobody seems to mind. It’s a comfortable, simple place to be.
