You can find us at No 12/36 on the 1st Main Road in Ramachandra Puram. We are located right in the New Kallappa Block area. It is a very lively and busy neighborhood in Bangalore. My shop is filled with all sorts of different things, from kitchen spices and grains to batteries and lightbulbs. I have been running this place for a long time, and I have seen many kids grow up and now they bring their own children here to buy sweets. The space inside is a bit tight, especially when we get new crates of soda or heavy water bottles delivered. I try to keep everything in order, but sometimes things get a bit jumbled up on the higher shelves where I cannot reach easily. We open up pretty early because people like to get their supplies before the Bangalore traffic gets too bad. I have a small wooden stool behind the counter where I sit when there are not any customers around. Most of my day is spent chatting with people about the weather or the local news. We do not do any big advertising or promotions. People just know that we are here. If someone needs something specific that we do not have, I try to get it for them by the following week. It is a local business in the truest sense. There are no fancy uniforms or computer screens here. Just me, my ledger, and the rows of goods.
