You can find Karnataka Timbers & Furniture Shop at 11 Banaswadi, inside the Shiv Kamal Prestige building. We are on NDA Road, situated right opposite the SBI Bank. Our shop is easy to spot because of all the wood stacked around. We deal with various types of timber and also have some furniture pieces that we've made. The air inside always has that smell of fresh-cut wood and varnish, which we've grown to love. It’s a hands-on business. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy planks and working with saws and sanders. It isn't a quiet or clean environment, but it's where we do our best work. Being across from the bank means there’s always people around, which is good for business. We’ve been in Banaswadi for quite a while and have built a bit of a reputation with the locals. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop feel where people can come and see the materials for themselves. We talk to people about what they need and try to give them the best advice we can based on what we know about wood. Sometimes we are working late into the evening to get an order finished. It’s a steady job and we take pride in just doing it right. We aren't big on talking ourselves up; we just let the work speak for itself.
