Karnataka Roadways

Karnataka Roadways is over in Sultanpet. Our office is in A Block of the Sri Balaji Complex, at number 14. Sultanpet is one of those places where the streets are narrow and there are people everywhere carrying goods on their backs. It’s a very traditional wholesale area. We’ve been operating from this complex for many years. It’s a simple setup with a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks. We handle logistics and moving items across the state. It’s a tough business because the roads can be unpredictable and there’s always a lot of coordination needed with the drivers. We don’t use any fancy software or big marketing schemes. We just rely on the experience we’ve gained over the decades. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time. We know the routes and the checkpoints. Being in Sri Balaji Complex, we are right in the middle of the trade hub. It’s busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. We deal with all sorts of items, from textiles to hardware. It isn't always easy, and sometimes there are delays that we can't help, but we always try to be honest about it. We’re just local people running a transport office the way it’s always been done. It’s practical, it’s noisy, and it’s how we make our living. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now.
