Karnataka Cane Furniture

You’ll find Karnataka Cane Furniture over on HKP Road, in the Corporation Building near Old Mahalunge Road. It’s an old building, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The shop is usually smelling like fresh cane and varnish. We have chairs, swings, and tables all over the place. Cane work is a bit different from regular wooden furniture because it involves a lot of weaving by hand. It’s a slow process, and we aren't trying to rush it. Our space is filled with stacks of raw materials and finished pieces waiting to be picked up. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s just us here, talking to people who walk in off the street. Some people come in looking for something specific, and others just want to see how the weaving is done. It’s a bit dusty, and there’s always a bit of a mess from the trimmings of the cane. We like the work though. It’s quiet and steady most days. The Corporation Building is a well-known spot, so people don't usually have trouble finding us. We aren't part of some big furniture chain. We’re just a local shop doing what we’ve always done. If you like the look of natural cane, this is where we spend our days making it. It’s practical, honest work, and we’ve been doing it in this same spot for years.
