Karnad Furnitures has been a part of the M K K Road scene in Malleswaram for a long time. Our shop is at number 123, not too far from the ICICI Bank. If you walk inside, you will immediately notice the smell of wood and polish. We do not have a huge showroom like those big chains you see in the malls. It is a more traditional setup where the furniture is packed in a bit tight. We have tables, chairs, cupboards, and various wooden pieces that we have sourced or made. Most of our customers are families from the neighborhood who are looking for something solid that will last for years. We spend a lot of time talking to people about the type of wood they prefer or showing them how a certain cabinet is built. It is a slow-paced business in some ways, but we prefer it that way. We are not interested in high-pressure sales. If you like a piece, you buy it, and we figure out how to get it to your house. Our staff consists of a few people who have been with us since the beginning. We know the regulars by name and often end up chatting about things other than furniture. It is just a local business trying to provide decent items for local homes. Being in Malleshwaram feels right for the kind of stuff we sell every day.
