We are located at 585 Avenue Road, inside the Kanthraj Plaza. This is a family-run business and has been in the same spot for quite a long time. The plaza is actually named after our family, which makes it easy for people to find us even in the middle of all the chaos on Avenue Road. If you have ever been here, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and vehicles. Our shop is filled with various goods and we handle a lot of trading stuff daily. It’s an old-fashioned way of working. We still use a lot of paper ledgers and keep things stored on high wooden shelves. It’s not a modern office by any means. There is always a lot of noise coming from the street, but we don't mind it much anymore. We open the doors early in the morning and we’re usually here until late evening. Often, you’ll find one of the brothers or cousins behind the counter. We know most of the people on this stretch of the road. We share news and sometimes help each other out when things get busy. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. It is just a regular life for us on Avenue Road, keeping things moving along as they always have.
