Kamath Tent House

We run Kamath Tent House out of a spot in Nagarbhavi 18/80. It is a local business through and through, nothing fancy about it. The shop is basically a hub for all sorts of event supplies that the local people might need. You will see us there most mornings, loading up the old truck with stacks of chairs and those long, heavy pipes for the tent frames. It is a lot of manual labor, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The neighborhood has grown a lot, and we have been here through much of that change. We provide the basics for whatever people are celebrating, whether it is a small gathering in a house or a larger public event on a playground. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate with us, and we are out there in the rain trying to make sure the guests will stay dry. It is just part of the day's work for a tent house. Our storage area is packed right to the ceiling with rolls of fabric in different colors and piles of floor mats. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through; they just come to the door and tell us what they are looking for. We check our stock and give them a price right then and there. It is all very direct and honest. We take some pride in just getting the job done without any unnecessary fuss or delay. It is a simple, busy life here.
