Kalpaka Transport Co Pvt Ltd is located in the Bommasandra Industrial Estate at 257-B. We are on the East Circle Road, not far from Sajjan Rao Circle and the Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital. This area is always full of heavy trucks and the sound of engines idling because of all the factories around here. Our office is a simple place with a lot of dust from the road and stacks of delivery logs on every available surface. We spend the day checking in with drivers and making sure the loads are moved to where they need to go. There is a small area where we have some water and a kettle for making tea during the long afternoons. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. It gets very hot in the summer, so we have a couple of big industrial fans that we keep running all day. You can see the hospital from the corner of the street, which is a good landmark for people who are coming to see us for the first time. We just focus on the logistics and trying to keep the schedules on track, even when the traffic on the main road is backed up for miles. There’s always someone coming in or out of the gate with some paperwork to sign before they head out again.
