Kalludi Computers

You can find us on the 1st floor at 43/ C Cubbon Road. It’s a good location right in the heart of things. Kalludi Computers is basically just a room filled with computer towers and monitors. We’ve been here for a while and the space has become quite crowded with all the spare parts we’ve collected. From the first floor, you can watch the cars go by on Cubbon Road all day. It’s a bit noisy, but it’s a nice view of the city. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big entrance. You just come up the stairs and we’re right there. Most of our day is spent at the long workbench against the wall. We do repairs and sell a few things here and there. The floor is covered in lino that’s starting to peel at the edges. We have a small table where we keep a ledger to write down all the jobs. It’s very old-fashioned in that way. We don’t use any complicated software to run the shop. Usually, we take a break in the afternoon and go for a walk to get some fresh air. The building is simple and doesn't have an elevator, so we get plenty of exercise going up and down every day. It’s a small operation and we like being our own bosses. People in the neighborhood know us by now and just drop by for a chat sometimes even if their computer is working fine.
