Kahawa Gallery For Design

You’ll find Kahawa Gallery For Design over in the Kssidc Industrial Estate in Vasanth Nagar. We are at 19/5/6. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly the most beautiful street, but we like the space we have here. We deal with design stuff, but we aren’t some high-brow gallery where you have to whisper. It’s a working space first. There’s usually a bit of a mess with sketches and materials scattered around. We moved to Vasanth Nagar because it felt like a good spot to get work done without too many distractions. People come by to see what we’re working on or to talk about a project they have in mind. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us with coffee in hand, trying to figure out a design problem. The building is a bit old, and the elevator is temperamental, but it has character. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes late into the night when we have a deadline. It’s just a small team of us. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make things that look decent and work the way they should. If you’re looking for us, just head into the industrial estate and look for the numbers. We’re usually around even if the lights look dim from the street. It’s quiet and we can think.
