Artree

I’ve been running Artree here at M/508/1 in Siddharthnagar for a while now. It’s located in Phase II of the HBR Layout, right on Aundh Road. If you’re looking for the place, it’s just a normal building with a small sign that I really should have repainted last summer. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so I usually keep the blinds halfway down to stop things from fading too much. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and some tables where I keep everything. I don’t have any fancy staff, just me and occasionally my cousin when he’s not busy with his own work. The floor is made of that old gray tile that never looks quite clean no matter how much I mop it, but it does the job. People walk in from the street because they’re curious or they live nearby and need something quick. I don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just find us because they’re walking to the store next door. It’s quiet enough most days, though the traffic on Aundh Road can get a bit loud during the rush hour. I like to keep the radio on low in the background, usually just some local station playing whatever is popular. It’s just a simple spot where I spend most of my time. Sometimes I forget to lock the back door properly, but the neighborhood is fine. I hope to stay here for a few more years.
